Paula Broadwater made her Tampa Bay area debut performance in June 2015 on the Palladium stage in St. Petersburg Opera’s Putting It Together and was noted by the Tampa Bay Times to have “capitalized on a long background in musicals to own this stage.”
Past leading role engagements include Mobile Opera’s The Light in the Piazza, Light Opera Oklahoma Theater’s Hello Dolly and Mobile Theatre Guild’s Always…Patsy Cline.
Having sung professionally for the past 30 years working with different genres and styles, Paula has delighted audiences with her jazz and musical theater cabaret shows. In January 2017, she won the Julie Wilson award for her cabaret performance in the Sarasolo Festival that wowed the sell out crowd in the Starlite Room.
She is pleased to be joining the 2017/2018 calendar line up at American Stage’s Cabaret Lobby Series – stay tuned for details. Paula is excited to be part of the Into the Woods family and get back on stage at the Palladium among old friends and new. Wishes do come true!
