We invite you to join us for our Gallery Songs performance at Opera Central in the Mirella Cimato Gallery during this weekend’s Second Saturday ArtWalk and Artist Reception.
Enjoy a fabulous evening of fine art and opera this Saturday, March 12th, from 6 to 6:30 pm as world-renowned Soprano Kirsten Chambers, with a piano accompaniment provided by Keith Chambers, showcases her ovation-worthy talents with a specially curated selection of arias from Verdi, Puccini, and other composers ranging from the classical to contemporary.
About The Artist:
Kirsten Chambers is most known for her portrayal of the title role of /Salome/, which she has sung at the Metropolitan Opera, Opera Hong Kong, and Florida Grand Opera. Her Carnegie Hall debut came on just two days’ notice when she sang the fiendishly challenging role of Maria in Friedentag by Richard Strauss with the American Symphony Orchestra. She first joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera as a cover of Isolde in Tristan Und Isolde and rejoined the Metropolitan Opera roster last season for Die Walküre.
